INFOS DE L'ÉVÉNEMENT

FOR WHOM?

  • We offer a group of people with Parkinson's disease and their caregivers (family or friends).

WHY?

  • An enthusiastic dance workshop of 60 minutes for 8 weeks. A workshop that offers tools to revitalize energy and regain ease of movement.

SUPPORT?

  • Insatiable, curious, qualified in dance and acting, Carol Jones has occupied the artistic scene since her adolescence. She teaches and performs both domestically and internationally. Recently, she brings together all her passions for science, the body and the arts, focusing on her studies in dance therapy. She forges ties with neuropsychologists, such as those associated with the Music and Brain Research Laboratory (BRAMS).
  • During the workshop, Carol guides our steps and our swings of arms to a variety of music, drawing inspiration from the musical tastes of the participants and enhancing everyone's skills, while taking into account the constraints of Parkinson's disease.
  • Carol is assisted by dancer and occupational therapist Karine Couture-Lavoie. Replacing Carol, Karine takes over.
